U10 x-ice Sheffield

During the off season we said 'goodbye' to old friends Blackburn, Manchester and Deeside; and 'hello' to new friends Sheffield, Billingham and Whitley Bay. Saturday 27th September saw the first X-ice fixture and a road trip to Sheffield. A brief visit from Head Coach Andy Brown helped to rally a short numbered Bradford bench. With first game appearances from Lydia and Dan; and with some help from some Sheffield players plus a goalie from Billingham there were 3 hard fought games of Hockey, which saw the players working hard together. Dan was rewarded for his efforts with one of the Spirit of the Game awards for the fixture. Johan, Dan and Lydia are looking forward to the next fixture and the return to a full strength Bradford team.
