Bulldogs’ Under-14s made it three wins in a row and kept alive their faint hopes of making the end-of-season Nationals at Ice Sheffield with a 9-2 win over Telford.

The hosts were 3-0 to the good after the first period thanks to a double from Danny Harrison and a Daragh Spawforth strike.

Captain Spawforth made it 4-0 on the power play at 20.52 before Telford got on the board through Tyler Stanton 20 seconds later.

That was how it stayed until early in the third when Telford gave themselves a lifeline through Stanton’s second of the game to make it 6-2.

But the Bulldogs wrestled back momentum through Harrison’s hat-trick effort at 35.34, the centre adding a fourth three minutes later before O’Sullivan wrapped up the scoring with his second at 38.40.
