Bulldogs’ Lydia and Alisha help seal gold medal and promotion at World U-18 Championships

BRADFORD BULLDOGS' duo Lydia Lutwyche and Alisha Potts enjoyed a golden time in Latvia after helping the Great Under-18 Women's Hockey team win promotion. 

The pair were part of a roster that went through the entire week at the Division 2 A tournament posting a 100 per cent record.

The gold medal was secured on Saturday with a 3-2 win over hosts and pre-tournament favourites. 

Across five games, Alisha contributed two goals and four assists and Lydiua two goals and an assist.

Head coach Sean Alderson said: "I am incredibly proud of the group – players and staff. Everyone bought into our vision and stuck to our systems, helping us achieve our goal of winning gold and gaining promotion.

“The resilience and patience of the group throughout each game was fantastic."
