Bulldogs Ball Hockey up and running for 2024-25

BALL DOGS: Bulldogs' Under-13s opened up with three wins at the Ball Hockey UK Autumn Qualifiers.

BRADFORD BULLDOGS Ball Hockey got their campaign underway when the Under-13s took part in the Autumn Qualifers for the Junior Nationals.

Five teams turned out at the Bench Buddy Arena in Rotherham for the tournament, with the Bulldogs coming in third after securing three wins from their four games.

Their first outing - against a combined Humberside Havoc and Leeds Rams team - produced a 4-2 win, with the goals coming from George Clarke, Alfie McAlinden, Evan Bulmer and Samson Collins.

Timur Sprogis was on target in the next game, a 4-1 defeat to Stingrays Blues, before the Bulldogs bounced back in style with a 4-1 win over Stingrays Maroon, when the goal scorers were Timur Sprogis (2), George Clarke and Alfie McAlinden.

The final game brought the Bulldogs up against Huskies Dark and it was Evan Bulmer who took centre stage as he led the Pups to a 7-2 win with four goals, with Alfie McAlinden, Samson Collins and Timur Sprogis also getting on the scoresheet.
