Bulldogs Awards Night 2023

MAGIC MOMENTS: It was another memorable Bulldogs Awards night at the Cedar Court Hotel

MORE than 150 people turned out for one of the most eagerly-anticipated events of the Bradford Bulldogs’ calendar, as the club staged its 2023 Awards Night at the Cedar Court Hotel.

Over 70 trophies and medals and thank you gifts were handed out to players, coaches and club officials in recognition of their efforts on and off the ice.

There was also a moment of reflection when chairman Jonathan Lutwyche stood up before the presentations got underway to ask those present to give 21 seconds of applause in memory of former Bulldogs’ junior player Alex Graham, who sadly passed away aged just 20 in late June.

Thereafter, head coach Andy Brown took over proceedings and, after presenting medals and trophies in recognition of the club’s Ball Hockey teams, attentions switched to on-ice, starting with the Under-10s, went right through to the Bulldogs’ NIHL team.

The night was then followed by a raffle - where the prizes included a £200 gift voucher for the Bradford Ice Arena and family match-night tickets for the Sheffield Steelers and Leeds Knights - before the disco kicked into life and dancing ensued until the end of the night.

Every junior player was presented with a 2022-23 Bulldogs’ medal. See below for a full list of the actual award winners from Under-12s to our Seniors’ team …
